Description:
The Board of Curators was organized separately after having met with the Board of Trustees on January 23, 1873. It was appointed by the State of Virginia to supervise the work on Hampton Institute. Judge O. Dorman was elected president and W.H. Ruffner was elected secretary. One book containing correspondence, minutes, reports and names of members of the Board of Curators.
